Project Overview

Arcane Odyssey Hub is a player resource for the game of the same name. It is not a brochure site: almost every page is a tool or a dataset, and visitors arrive with a specific question rather than general curiosity.

The brief was to make a large and frequently changing body of game data searchable, comparable, and quick to read, without the clutter and stale pages that community wikis tend to accumulate.

Website Goals

  • Make a large dataset searchable, filterable, and directly comparable
  • Serve several very different visitor intents from one entry point
  • Keep patch-sensitive content clearly versioned so players can trust it
  • Stay fast on the mid-range and mobile hardware players actually use
  • Give returning players an immediate view of what changed

What We Built

The homepage routes by intent rather than by site structure. New players, returning players, build planners, map explorers, and PvP players each get a distinct entry point, so the site answers the question a visitor already has.

The reference layer covers 20 magics, 31 bosses, and 1,678 items, alongside a build calculator that resolves stats into a class and a set of gear recommendations. Tier lists carry explicit criteria and a patch version, so readers can judge how current a ranking is.

A global keyboard-accessible search sits across the whole dataset, and a persistent update banner surfaces the latest patch with its buffs and nerfs. The front end was hand-built for fast navigation between densely tabulated pages.
